Terms of Service
By signing in to Warnd or creating a workspace, you agree to these terms. If you're using Warnd on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Warnd (“we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the application at warnd.app and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Warnd.
- You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- One person, one account — don't share credentials.
- You can invite teammates to a workspace; the workspace owner is responsible for managing access.
3. Your content
Whatever you put into your workspace — tools, descriptions, risk notes, playbooks, OAuth-grant data discovered via the connector — belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
You're responsible for the content you add. Don't add material you don't have rights to share, anything unlawful, or anything you wouldn't want a future auditor to see.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
- Probe or scan our infrastructure, except via our coordinated disclosure programme (see Security).
- Use the Service to transmit malware, conduct phishing, or send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Interfere with other tenants' use of the Service.
- Use the Service in violation of export controls, sanctions, or any applicable law.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- The Free plan is, well, free.
- Paid plans (Team, Business) bill monthly or annually via Stripe. Annual cycles get the discount shown on the pricing page.
- Plan changes take effect immediately; the price difference is prorated by Stripe.
- Cancellation stops future billing. You keep access until the end of the current period.
- We don't do refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the cycle ends.
- If you exceed your plan's limits (tool count, members, workspaces), we'll prompt you to upgrade. We will not silently delete data — soft-hidden rows can be reactivated by upgrading.
6. Discovery connectors
If you connect a third-party identity provider (e.g. Google Workspace), you confirm that you have authority to do so and that the connection complies with your organisation's policies. We process the data we read in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You can revoke the connection at any time from Settings → Connectors. We'll stop reading new data immediately.
7. Intellectual property
The Service — software, design, brand — is and remains our property. You get the right to use it during your subscription; you don't get the right to copy, sublicense, or build a competing product on top of it.
8. Termination
- You can terminate at any time by deleting your workspace from Settings → Workspace.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.
- On termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
9. Disclaimers
Warnd helps you keep an inventory and score privacy-policy risk — we are not legal advice, not a compliance certification, and not a substitute for your own counsel. Our risk scores are informational. You decide what to approve in your workspace.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits or goodwill.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including liability for intent or gross negligence under Swiss law, and any mandatory rights you hold as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
12. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the ordinary courts at the operator's Swiss domicile, except where local law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction (e.g. EU consumers).
